Technically the Combo 600/800 were, but this was the first since those. Afterwards came the 481, 430, 3000/3001, and all the 200/2000 series models.
I had a ‘74 481 Mapleglo OJ 7091. It was quite heavy considering and I never got a feel for the low profile slanted frets on a flat fretboard. It did have a nice out of phase pick-up tone with the phase switch.
Despite all the flaws, just love ‘em. Something really special about the 480.
